Job Description

As a Senior Director, you will lead the Assurance and Advisory Services function within the Corporate Affairs Division. Your role will be to deliver an independent and objective internal audit program that enhances governance, accountability, and performance.

The successful candidate will contribute to strategic planning, reviews, and risk/compliance activities. They will ensure audits comply with standards, ethics, legislation, and frameworks.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, auditing, commerce, business, or a related field
  • Membership (or eligibility for membership) with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants ANZ, or equivalent professional body
  • Demonstrated experience in leading internal audit functions within large, complex organisations, preferably in the public or health sector
