About the Role

HammondCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dementia Carer to join our team at Caulfield. As a Dementia Carer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents with dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and dressing
  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Engage with residents, promoting their involvement in activities and ensuring their needs are met
  • Recognize and respond to changes in residents' conditions, reporting any concerns to management
Requirements
  • Passion for serving elderly people and making a positive impact on their lives
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge and experience of caring for people with dementia
  • Desirable: Cert III or IV in Aged Care
