HammondCare is seeking a dedicated Carer to provide high-quality care to residents with Dementia in our cottage-style homes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and dressing
- Assisting with domestic tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Engaging with residents, promoting their involvement in activities they enjoy
- Recognizing and responding to changes in residents' conditions within their skills and competencies
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a positive impact on their lives
- Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends
- Value teamwork and be able to work independently, showing initiative when needed
- Have knowledge and experience of caring for people with Dementia and their needs
- Applicants with Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care will be viewed favorably
