Community-Based Speech Language Therapist

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to deliver high-quality services and make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients. As a community-based Speech Pathologist, you will have the flexibility to work with clients in their own homes, schools, and communities.
Main Responsibilities- Manage an allocated caseload and provide timely therapeutic services
- Deliver speech pathology services to participants within schools, homes, and local communities
- Utilize clinical observations, standardized assessments, and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Offer evidence-based interventions that enhance client outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor junior clinicians (for senior Speech Pathologists)
- Ensure awareness of current legislation and regulatory requirements
- Current certified practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Relevant experience as a Speech Pathologist beyond graduation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage diverse caseloads
- A proactive attitude, motivated by continuous improvement and the pursuit of innovation
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
