Job Title: Principal Industrial Relations Specialist

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the nuclear-powered submarine sustainment program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust industrial relations strategies that align with program objectives and national interests.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver an industrial relations strategy that effectively manages risk and supports business objectives.
  • Maintain positive stakeholder and union relationships across the organization and externally.
  • Execute enterprise agreement negotiation strategies to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Establish policies, procedures, governance frameworks, toolkits, and training related to industrial relations matters.
  • Provide expert advice and training to stakeholders on industrial relations matters.
  • Investigate and manage disciplinary processes for the program.
  • Resolve IR disputes and grievances to achieve optimal business outcomes.
  • Offer high-level strategic advice on workforce composition and planning to Integrated Project Teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
