This full-time position provides permanent care to residents and clients across various facilities.

The diverse workforce supports over 10,000 residents and clients across residential aged care homes, home care, retirement living, day therapy and day respite centers.

The Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging activities for residents
  • Conduct thorough lifestyle assessments of residents
  • Accurately document resident participation and engagement in a timely manner
  • Lead and manage the lifestyle team to deliver top-notch lifestyle activities
  • Support new team members and volunteers with orientation and training
  • Develop strong relationships with residents, families and volunteers
  • Facilitate opportunities for residents to engage with the broader community
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • Previous experience in a Lifestyle Assistant/Coordinator role (or similar), including dementia care
  • Experience using a computerized care management system (desirable) and strong computer literacy skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Driving skills preferable bus (8-10 people)
