About the Role:
- Team Leadership: You will lead a team of passionate professionals to develop and implement innovative conservation strategies that make a lasting impact.
- Protected Area Management: Use your formal qualifications to ensure the effective management of protected areas and promote the interests of First Nations people.
- Legislation and Compliance: Demonstrate a sound understanding of legislation, policies, and procedures governing Queensland parks and forests.
- Firefighting Operations: Possess a Firefighting Operations (Fire Crew) Level 1 certificate and be able to undertake a varied work program, including administrative work as well as various types of physical duties.
- Foster a Positive Workplace Culture: Encourage a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people.
Your Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring the effective management of protected areas, promoting the interests of First Nations people, and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
