About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Employee and Domestic Assistant to join our team at McLean Care in Gunnedah.

Key Responsibilities

As a Home Care Employee and Domestic Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Effective communication skills to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
  • Demonstrate an empathic and caring approach to provide emotional support and care
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team to manage your time and workload effectively
  • Access to your own fully maintained and insured vehicle to travel to clients' homes
  • Ability to plan and organise timely completion of tasks to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Competent to use a smartphone and/or tablet or willingness to learn to access our systems and communicate with clients
  • Physical fitness to undertake manual handling, carrying, standing, and sitting for long periods of time
