We are expanding our Home & Community Care services in the Gunnedah area due to a growing demand for support.

As a Home Care Employee and Domestic Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable people in our community.

This role offers flexible work hours and the chance to gain valuable experience in the sector while studying to provide quality care to the elderly.

To be successful, you will need:

Essential Skills

  • Effective communication skills
  • Demonstrate an empathic and caring approach
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Access to a fully maintained and insured vehicle
  • Ability to plan and organise timely completion of tasks
  • Competent to use a smartphone and/or tablet or willingness to learn
  • Physical fitness including ability to undertake manual handling, carrying, standing and sitting for long periods of time

Qualifications

  • Qualified Home Care Employee - Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent
  • Domestic Assistant roles available for those currently studying, or those who are passionate about supporting the elderly with their domestic household duties
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtain
  • Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
