Customer Service and Internal Sales Coordinator Role

The position of Customer Service and Internal Sales Coordinator is crucial to the success of our organization. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding equipment hire, sales, off-hires, pricing, and quotations.
  • Provide accurate, competitive quotes and product recommendations.
  • Coordinate deliveries and pickups (internal and external transport).
  • Maintain day sheets and required documentation.
  • Enter contracts and update daily branch KPI reports.
  • Liaise with drivers, yard hands, sales reps, and management.
  • Promote the full range of company products and spot cross-sell opportunities.
  • Greet visitors and answer calls promptly with a friendly, professional approach.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in internal sales or customer service coordination.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong eye for detail.
  • Experience liaising with a variety of stakeholders - sales teams, warehouse staff, and management.
  • Construction or hire industry experience is an advantage (but not essential).
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to grow your product knowledge.
