About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at LVT People. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying business/operational pain points, eliciting and analysing requirements, and formulating and documenting business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the business and non-technical users to identify business/operational pain points and elicit requirements
  • Formulate and document business requirements based on analysis of current business processes and procedures
  • Liaise between the business and technology teams to facilitate business-IT alignment and aid in evidence-based decision-making
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, evaluate and recommend software solutions
  • Develop detailed functional requirement specifications documents using epics and user stories
  • Communicate software requirements to the development & QA team during requirement walkthroughs and planning sessions
  • Create clear system specifications through the use of use case diagrams, data/process modelling, flowcharts, or other UMLs
  • Document and perform user acceptance testing to ensure software developed is in line with requirements, of acceptable quality and plan deployment cycles
  • Analyse systems to facilitate third-party integrations
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies and suggest improvements in process or functional specifications of the system
  • Work with a team in an Agile environment to implement best practices and timely deliverables
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/IS and a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience working as a Business Analyst/ Product Analyst/ Product Manager or other similar roles. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing detailed, clear and consistent functional requirement specifications using Epics and User stories, demonstrated ability to prioritise business requirements, and hands-on experience creating systems specifications using UML.

The successful candidate will also have experience working with Power BI and Microsoft technologies, strong understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries, knowledge of backend and frontend technologies, knowledge and understanding of responsive designs and systems, strong understanding of cloud architecture, and experience working in Agile–Scrum development methodology.
