Machine Fitter Position

The role of a Machine Fitter is vital in the maintenance team. Key responsibilities include performing machine fitting tasks, maintaining equipment, and providing support under supervision. A strong focus on safety policies and quality procedures is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures as required by law.
  • Undertake mechanical fitting trade activities.
  • Maintain non-core and non-critical operating assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade Mechanical Fitter Qualification.
  • Minimum EWP Yellow Card – below 11m or preferred EWP WP – 11m and over certificate.
  • Work Safely at Heights certified.
  • Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
  • C Class Drivers' License.
Desirable/Preferred Skills
  • Experience in an Oil & Gas industry.
  • Preferable experience in continuous processing plant.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience post trade, ideally 10 year's plus experience post trade.
  • Forklift License Demonstrated skills in minor machinery activities.
  • Gas detection trained.
