Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Aged Care Support Specialist to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality care to our valued clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Your duties will include assisting with general household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, as well as providing personal care, transport, and social support.

You will have the opportunity to work independently with the support of our team, visiting the same clients each week and building meaningful relationships.

About the Role
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Provide quality personalised care through services such as:
  • General household tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning bathroom and kitchen, changing beds, hanging up washing, etc.
  • Personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting.
  • Transport to appointments and shopping, etc.
  • Meal preparation.
  • Social support.
  • Respite.
Requirements for the Role
  • An Australian driver's licence and a reliable insured motor vehicle is essential.
  • Reliability and compassion for the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent - an advantage but not essential.
  • Previous experience as a Home Care Worker - highly regarded but not required.
  • Evidence of Covid vaccinations.
