The Operations Supervisor position plays a crucial role in the Road Express division. Based in Mackay, this Full-Time Permanent job requires the incumbent to work Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile loads to optimize driver and equipment usage
  • Organize vehicles to meet all orders and requests
  • Ensure vehicles comply with customer and freight requirements
  • Liaise with internal and external customers and provide guidance
  • Prepare loading/unloading documentation, including manifests and compliance paperwork
  • Analyze contractor run sheets and delivery advices for performance management
  • Manage incidents involving drivers, including reports and investigations
  • Supervise drivers to ensure compliance with laws
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance of company equipment
  • Participate in operational and OHS meetings
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Provide accurate reports as needed
  • Maintain professional communication with stakeholders
