We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Uniting. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and companionship to older adults living in their own homes, empowering their independence and improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care and Support: Assist clients with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and mealtime support.
- Household Assistance: Provide housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation support to clients.
- Transportation: Accompany clients on outings and assist with transportation to appointments and shopping trips.
- Social and Wellbeing: Engage clients in social activities, such as outings and Healthy Living for Seniors programs.
- Qualifications: Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Similar experience providing client-centered care.
- Certifications: Current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's license.
