About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in the Coffs Harbour area. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of older people to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Personal Care: Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Helping customers with meal preparation and grocery shopping.
  • Social Support and Transport: Providing emotional support and transportation to lifestyle activities and appointments.
  • Respite and Emotional Support: Offering respite and emotional support to customers and their families.

Requirements
  • Experience: 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • Certification: Current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Availability: Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
