Pharmacy Technician Role

We have permanent part-time positions available for pharmacy technicians to work at the front entrance of a hospital in Richmond. The hours are 5pm - 10pm Tuesday to Friday, with no weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the sale of medicines while displaying an appropriate level of knowledge.
  • Dispense medications under supervision for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Assist customers with general queries, including liaising with hospital staff.
  • Replenish stock and assist in maintaining inventory levels in pharmacy and hospital.
  • Assist pharmacy teams with other ad-hoc pharmaceutical duties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of dispensing experience in an Australian hospital or community pharmacy.
  • Certificate in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent.
