Overview

Dispensary Technician opportunity at Ramsay Pharmacy - Glen Huntly. This is a permanent part-time position on a rotating roster which includes weekend shifts. As the Dispensary Technician, you'll be supervised by a qualified pharmacist as you prepare medications and process prescriptions for our valued patients and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pharmacist with the dispensing of medication
  • Remain up to date with PBS legislative requirements impacting the pharmacy/dispensary
  • Strive to provide specialised patient care to our valued patients and customers
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy
  • Excellent understanding of PBS and private prescription pricing and processing
  • Sound understanding of S2, S3 and S4 medications and associated regulations
  • Highly organized and with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills and able to work well as part of a team

You must be focused on customer service and able to demonstrate enthusiasm, energy and excellent communication skills.

Mandatory requirements
  • Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
  • A national police check conducted within the last 12 months
