
Wet Fire System Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities.
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of fire protection systems.
The successful candidate will have experience working with wet fire systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. A Cert III in Fire Protection or equivalent is highly desirable, but not essential. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and service all wet fire systems and fire-fighting equipment to Australian Standards.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and servicing of wet fire systems - sprinklers, hydrants, hoses, and pumps.
- Install new wet fire systems, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards.
- Assist in the preparation of customer quotations and identify remedial work requirements.
- Liaise directly with clients regarding service work, providing clear and concise information on system performance and any required repairs.
- Cert III in Fire Protection (desired)
- Demonstrated experience working with wet fire systems
- Understanding of Australian Standards 1851-2012 and AS2118
- Ability to test, repair, and install fire protection systems
- Driver's license
- Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) would be well regarded
- Take-home company van
