Fire Protection Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing Wet Fire Systems, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards.

Job Description:
  • Maintain and service all Wet Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to meet Australian standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, and servicing of Wet Fire Systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, hoses, and pumps.
  • Install new Wet Fire Systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of customer quotations and identify remedial work.
  • Liaise directly with clients regarding service work.
  • Isolate panels to conduct testing of the Wet Fire Systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cert III in Fire Protection (desired).
  • Proven experience working with Wet Fire Systems.
  • Understanding of Australian Standards 1851-2012 and AS2118.
  • Ability to test, repair, and install Wet Fire Systems.
  • Driver's Licence.
  • Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) is highly regarded.
