Event Medic Role Overview

As an event medic, you will be part of a team providing first aid services at various events across Sydney.

This role involves working in different environments, from concerts to community fetes and festivals, exhibitions, and more.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality first aid care to attendees and ensuring their safety throughout the event.

This is an excellent opportunity for paramedics or student paramedics (1st-3rd year) or student nurses (2nd-3rd year) to gain experience in this field.

Requirements include:

  • A degree in paramedical science or nursing (or undertaking)
  • Provide First Aid Certificate or Certificate II in Emergency Medical Service First Response or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills - verbal and written
  • Experience in this role or similar is essential
  • Holds relevant qualifications and/or workplace experience

Shifts are variable, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings. You must be willing to travel around Sydney and have access to a vehicle.

The pay rate is $47.50 per hour, and work authorization is required for Australia. The job type is casual, with expected start dates available.
