- Empower consumers through tailored education, referrals, and support to enhance resilience and engagement in their communities.
This role involves working closely with individuals recovering from severe and enduring mental health issues. In collaboration with the consumer, goals are identified, a care plan is developed and reviewed regularly to facilitate the recovery process.
As a Peer Support Professional, you will work collaboratively with consumers to help them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. You will also be part of a team that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for all individuals.
The ideal candidate will have personal experience of mental health and/or substance use issues and recovery. They will be able to draw on this experience to provide empathetic and effective support to consumers.
