About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Signal Maintainer to join our team at the Australian Rail Track Corporation. As a Signal Maintainer, you will be responsible for installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing signaling and communication equipment on our extensive rail network.

About the Team

Our Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains. With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items.

About the Opportunity

This is a permanent full-time position working a mix of Monday to Friday roster and a ten-day block with the requirement to travel away from home. You will collaborate with other signaling professionals across the rail corridor to perform signaling routine and reactive maintenance and work on rail projects.

What We're Looking For
  • A Certificate III in Electrotechnology
  • An Electrical License
  • Sound knowledge of testing parameters, signal circuit wiring plans, power wiring systems, and signal track plans
  • Knowledge of or an awareness of Work, Health and Safety principles and relevant rail safety legislation
  • A Current drivers' license
