**About the Role**
As the Assistant Planner you will manage the Demand and Supply process by account to ensure forecasts are accurate and reflect customer needs to enable PO placement with the objective of delivering the most cost effective inventory cover to meet sales demand and customer expectations.

**What you’ll be doing**
Demand
- Assist the planner to utilize historical trends along with future business insights at both product and commercial view to enable accurate product forward forecasting
- Manage and continually improve the Demand Planning Process for National product and for Customer specific styles ( as set by the business) Manage stock health and make recommendations to improve stock health
- Formulate/recommend profitable range based on fact based analysis in conjunction with Merchandising team
Supply
- Analyse and challenge buy signals in line with business KPIs and customer DIFOT
- Following business RACI. Communicate with all stakeholders ensuring flagging of information which will impact decision making.
- Ongoing focus on best practice to simplify, value add and educate cross functional teams
- Amend Purchase orders
- Track and trace purchase orders under supervision of the planners
- Administrative tasks on behalf of planners
**What we’re looking for**
You will be highly organised and possess good communication skills to liaise with stakeholders. Along with your attention to detail, you will have:
- Ideally 2 or more years in a supply/demand planning role
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills. Not afraid of difficult conversation
- Strong interpersonal aptitude and confident communicator
- Change Agent
- Advanced Excel skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage own time and priorities to achieve goals
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing at all levels
- Strong eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
