About this Role">

A collaborative and strategic leader is required to shape the credit risk strategy for our fast-scaling lending and credit business.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and launch innovative credit products tailored to small businesses' evolving needs, optimizing loan portfolio performance while mitigating risk.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence product features, partner with high-performing teams, and drive results in a dynamic startup growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to create and implement diverse credit products that meet customer needs.
  • Manage the entire credit lifecycle, including origination, servicing, and collections, to optimize loan portfolio performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, providing transparent communication on credit performance and risk management.
  • Develop and continuously improve Airwallex's credit risk management strategy and policies.
  • Lead and mentor the credit and risk management teams, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Integrate advanced data analytics and machine learning models into credit risk assessment and strategy formulation.
