About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual System Designer to join our team. As an AV Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and drafting documentation for integrated Video Conferencing, Audio Conferencing, Meeting Rooms, and Presentation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design systems and cable schedules according to customer needs
  • Perform site surveys when necessary on larger scale projects
  • Prepare complete AV plans, including line diagrams, bills of materials, scope of work, and rack elevations
  • Stay current on technological developments in the AV field, including new hardware and software
Requirements
  • 3+ years of designing complex AV solutions experience
  • 2+ years of AV products experience, including Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Atlas, and Harman
  • Certified Technology Specialist certification
  • Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding people skills, high ethical standards, and work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
  • AV Design/project engineering experience with a leading Systems Integrator of Audiovisual, Videoconferencing, and Unified Communications Systems
  • Demonstrate technical writing responses and formal documentation in a written and graphic format
  • Knowledge of AV Signal Flow and control systems DSP programming, including AMX, Crestron, and Extron
