Duties:
- Develop and deliver an audit program that meets the needs of stakeholders, including optimal resource allocation and effective management of contracted audits.
- Provide expert information and recommendations on audit outcomes to stakeholders.
- Evaluate reports prepared by staff or contractors to ensure accuracy and ability to withstand scrutiny.
- Research and advise on complex concepts through written reports and presentations.
- Maintain and refine audit methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare reports on audit outcomes impacting government policy and operations.
- Contribute to quality control and assurance activities related to audits, accounting, and auditing standards.
