About the Role

As a Senior Leader within the Tasmanian Audit Office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and strategic direction of the organisation.

Reporting directly to the Auditor-General, you will have the opportunity to drive change and improvement across the public sector, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services and providing assurance and advice to Parliament and public sector entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to drive organisational performance and achievement of objectives;
  2. Provide expert guidance and support to staff on audit methodology, techniques and procedures;
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address emerging issues and trends in the public sector;
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Parliament, government agencies and external partners;
