Senior Accountant Job in Property and Funds Management

The Senior Accountant role in our organisation involves leading the financial control of funds management operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team where you will play a key part in shaping the future of our property and funds management business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyse comprehensive financial reports for senior leaders, meeting vital external reporting requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial insights, empowering informed decision-making across the business.
  • Deliver accurate, timely financial analysis and contribute directly to the success of the business. You will also support strategic fund transfers and collaborate with the Treasury team on ad-hoc requests.
  • Take ownership of cash flow forecasting and implement effective strategies to optimise working capital. Your tax compliance expertise will be instrumental in preparing distributions, tax returns, Business Activity Statements, and other critical documents.
  • Build strong relationships across various teams and foster open communication to drive business growth. You will contribute directly to the success of the business and other related departments.
Requirements:
  • A CA or CPA qualification (or near-qualified) accounting professional with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a Big 4 firm, chartered practice, or commercial environment - ideally within the property or funds management sectors.
  • Experience with Yardi or Blackline advantageous.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A self-motivated, can-do attitude and ability to manage competing priorities.
