Maternity Care Specialist Position

This is an exciting career opportunity to provide high-quality inpatient and ambulatory obstetric care, including antenatal clinics and caesarean section lists, and on-call cover.

About the Role

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional maternity care services. You should have excellent clinical skills, experience in providing maternity care, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, and be committed to continuous professional development.

In this role, you will provide support to junior medical staff, contribute to RANZCOG Fellowship training, and play a key part in shaping the future of maternity care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality inpatient and ambulatory obstetric care, including antenatal clinics and caesarean section lists, and on-call cover.
  • Support a team-based, collaborative maternity care model in a high-complexity, tertiary setting.
  • Mentor and train junior medical staff, contributing to RANZCOG Fellowship training.
