Medication Management Specialist

Clinical trials pharmacists play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients participating in clinical trials. In this permanent full-time opportunity, you will join our pharmacy team at Pindara Private Hospital, providing comprehensive medication management and optimising patient treatments within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered pharmacy services, focusing on medication safety and optimisation
  • Perform clinical assessments, drug therapy monitoring, and provide patient-specific recommendations
  • Compounding, dispensing, and managing clinical trial drugs and supplies effectively
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including project management, CRO partners, and internal staff for training implementation and coordination
  • Implement clinical trial processes and procedures, efficiently preparing documentation for use on clinical trials

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent, with current unconditional pharmacist registration with AHPRA
  • A high level of computer literacy, including systems knowledge of CHARM, Merlin, and Microsoft Office
  • Team-oriented, enjoy collaboration, and passionate about providing specialised patient care
  • Clinical trials experience highly desirable, including knowledge of GMP, GCP, sterile compounding, and clean room work
