Medical Health Specialist Role
We are seeking a qualified Medical Health Specialist to deliver high-quality medical assessments and services in various industries, including mining, construction, rail, transport, and corporate sectors.
The successful candidate will conduct workforce medicals and assessments, ensuring employees are fit for work and compliant with relevant health standards.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-employment/health assessments, including functional capacity assessments, drug & alcohol testing, and health surveillance checks.
- Perform audiometry, spirometry, and ECGs as part of workplace medicals.
- Maintain accurate health records and collaborate with stakeholders to finalise assessments.
- Provide a client-centric approach to health assessments and support the development of best practice.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
About You:
- A Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration.
- Experience in occupational health, workplace assessments, or a clinical background is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Excellent administration and case management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
