Automation Test Engineer

Lanson Partners is seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our capital markets solutions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our applications.

About the Role
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts for applications within the capital markets domain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks using Java, Spring, and Cucumber tools.
  • Perform API testing to validate the functionality and performance of our services.
  • Monitor and analyse test results, identifying and documenting defects and issues.
Requirements
  • Experience in automation testing, preferably in the capital markets area.
  • Proficiency to work with Java, Spring boot applications.
  • Familiarity with Kafka and messaging systems.
  • Strong experience in API testing (REST/SOAP).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit) and CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
