Display Draftsperson Role

Metricon Homes, a leading multi-award-winning new home builder, is seeking an experienced Display Draftsperson to join our National Product Development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete drafting documentation for Metricon display homes from concept to handover
  • Produce drawings to support the workflow process, reflecting customer requirements and incorporating amendments
  • Respond to critical customer needs and inspect construction to mark up as-constructed plans
  • Communicate and address variations and site minutes with relevant departments
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the workflow information system and company software
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Building Design/Drafting/Construction or equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years in the residential volume home building industry
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and keep up to date with technological changes
  • Sound knowledge of Building Regulations, Building Code of Australia, and relevant Australian Standards
