About this Role:
Job Title: Verification and Validation EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring that complex systems meet rigorous performance and compliance standards.
Your primary focus will be on leading testing and validation efforts across hardware and software platforms, contributing to the delivery of reliable and mission-ready technology solutions.
- Develop and execute verification and validation plans, procedures, and compliance matrices.
- Conduct functional, environmental, and acceptance testing aligned with industry standards.
- Ensure traceability of requirements across system components and documentation.
- Analyse test results, identify defects, and support resolution with engineering teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to align testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Verification and Validation Activities:- Lead testing and validation efforts across hardware and software platforms.
- Develop and execute verification and validation plans, procedures, and compliance matrices.
- Conduct functional, environmental, and acceptance testing aligned with industry standards.
Requirements:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:- Degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field.
- Experience in Defence, Aerospace, or Federal Government projects.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira).
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and standards relevant to defence technologies.
