About the Role

As a site coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assisting project managers in delivering projects efficiently. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and coordinating onsite activities, ensuring compliance with commercial expectations, policies, and procedures while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate onsite activities during site establishment, construction, inspection, testing, commissioning, and disestablishment.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate project tasks, develop suitable methodologies, and ensure works are carried out safely, on time, and meeting commercial requirements.
  • Maintain daily supervisor reports and project work programs.
  • Liaise with client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage plant and equipment, including maintenance and inspections.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance and safety/environmental measures.
  • Train and supervise site personnel, ensuring adherence to Safe Work Method Statements and PPE requirements.
  • Participate in hazard identification, incident investigations, and safety meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • General safety induction card and First Aid certificate.
  • Certificate 3 in Civil Construction or related trade qualification.
  • Highly desirable: Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a site coordinator in relevant areas.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Knowledge of modern construction techniques and project methodologies.
