About the role:

  • You will work closely with senior managers to ensure alignment with strategic plans and projects, providing expert advice and guidance on curriculum and assessment issues.

  • Lead the development of assessments, marking procedures, and training materials, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in test delivery and related support materials.

  • Collaborate with contractors and jurisdictional experts to ensure national consistency in marking and accurate reporting of results.

  • Utilize project management skills to achieve desired outcomes, engaging stakeholders and relevant employees to exchange expertise and data.

  • Successful candidates will possess:

    • An in-depth understanding of national curriculum and assessment issues, including working knowledge of standardized testing.

    • Exceptional organizational capability with strong analytical and interpretive skills, able to generate accurate information and reports within tight timelines.

    • Extensive experience in managing projects in an online educational assessment context.

    • Highly developed communication skills, including written reports and briefings.

    • Ability to maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships, focusing on stakeholder management.

    • A collaborative approach, allocating responsibilities and accountabilities to team members.

    • Rasch measurement interpretation is highly desirable.
