Lead Psychological Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Psychological Assessment Specialist to join our multidisciplinary allied health organisation.

This is a part-time opportunity that offers the chance to work with a diverse client base in a reputable clinic.

The role provides a lead specialist in supporting the assessment team, ensuring that assessments are consistently valid and reliable, and meet evidence-based practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical coaching and guidance to psychologists on the assessment team.
  • Support and develop the skills of the assessment team.
  • Ensure that assessments completed within the clinic are consistently valid and reliable and meet evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Analyse and provide feedback on written reports of developing psychologists.
  • Provide feedback to the clinical assessment team on the best approaches in conveying recommendations to parents, educators, and allied health professionals.
  • Staying current with research and practice in assessments and presenting new developments in the field to the assessment team.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority.
  • Excellent coaching and guidance skills.
  • Experience in analysing and providing feedback on written reports.
