Enhance Employee Knowledge and Performance

This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in enhancing employee knowledge, skills and performance.

The key focus areas of this role are:

  • Coordinating and delivering the induction and onboarding program to newly hired employees
  • Delivering and/or facilitating education and training to all Residential Aged care (RAC) employees within the home to meet role expectations and ensure compliance across all Aged care Quality Standards
  • Conducting education and training needs analysis and develop a learning plan to address identified gaps

Key Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Be an AHPRA Registered Nurse with current registration
  • Hold Cert IV Workplace Training & Assessment or similar qualification
  • Experience in delivering education and training programs using adult learning principles
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
  • Solid understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality standards
  • Previous experience working in a Residential Aged Care setting
  • Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process
  • IT savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • COVID vaccinated
  • NDIS check or willing to obtain
