Care Manager

As a senior member of our residential team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and support to our clinical and personal care teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high-quality patient care is provided at all times, adhering to the Aged Care quality Standards and relevant policies and procedures.
  • Lead and mentor our clinical and support staff to deliver exceptional resident outcomes.
  • Work safely and efficiently, closely following all applicable policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Assume second-in-command responsibilities to the Residential Manager.
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to seniors.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Thorough understanding of aged care legislation and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Comprehensive clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
  • Proven understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
  • Previous experience working within a residential aged care setting in a similar role.
  • Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence colleagues.
  • Customer-centric approach to service delivery.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft suite applications.
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
