Job Title: Senior Draftsperson

Job Description:

The Senior Draftsperson will lead a team of draftsmen and be responsible for the preparation of drawings, as per design specifications. They will work closely with the Design, Architectural, and MEP teams to ensure that shop drawings are prepared accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the draftsmen team and ensure that they understand the design parameters.
  • Coordinate with the Design, Architectural, and MEP teams to prepare shop drawings.
  • Prepare schedules for the submission of shop drawings by the in-house drafting team and subcontractors.
  • Work closely with MEP engineers and BIM engineers to incorporate MEP services into shop drawings.
  • Provide guidance to draftsmen for corrections after validation with design data.
  • Share all drawings and design data with the client, consultants, and project team for finalization and approval.
  • Coordinate with the construction team to explain and clarify details for correct implementation of approved drawings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • White Card.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working in a similar role.
