Civil Draftsperson

Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Draftsperson to join their office-based team in Sippy Downs on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting civil engineering projects through the preparation of accurate technical drawings and documentation using CAD software. Position: Civil Draftsperson
Location: Sippy Downs, QLD

• Produce detailed technical drawings for civil engineering projects using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
• Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to interpret and integrate design specifications
• Maintain and update project documentation including revisions, specifications, and reports
• Review technical drawings for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards
• Conduct site visits as required to gather data and ensure designs align with site conditions and local regulations
• Modify existing drawings based on feedback and project requirements
• Provide drafting support during the construction phase as needed

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Solid understanding of civil engineering design standards and principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines
• Practical problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude

• Associate degree or diploma in civil drafting, engineering technology, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in civil drafting or civil engineering projects
• Professional certification (if applicable) will be viewed favourably
