About Our Financial Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting and supervising junior staff, contributing to training initiatives, and ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include preparing high-quality financial statements and tax returns, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and assisting clients with their accounting systems.

  • Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and superannuation funds
  • Prepare financial accounts for various entities from trial balance
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual Business Activity Statements
  • Supervise and review work of junior staff during assignments
  • Prepare Fringe Benefits Tax returns
  • Assist clients with management accounting using Xero, MYOB, and other platforms

You must have a broad knowledge of accounting and general financial management, strong written and verbal communication skills, advanced numeracy skills, and attention to detail.

Key Requirements
  • Member or near-member of CAANZ, CPA, or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years' full-time experience in a similar role
