Operational Excellence Leader

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a brand-new reinforced concrete pipe plant in the final stages of construction.
The site is located near Grafton NSW, in the beautiful Clarence Valley. As a member of our small team with a family-like environment, you will be expected to assist the team in delivering production KPIs by ensuring they understand and implement current safe operating procedures.
You will also be responsible for implementing continuous improvement activities to minimize downtime and costs. Leading by example in regards to safety is of utmost importance.
About You- A relevant qualification or experience in mechanical work, such as steel welding & fabrication, would be advantageous.
- A forklift license is not essential but would be beneficial.
- You should possess sound planning and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to lead a team with good people and team-building skills.
- A high attention to detail and accuracy is necessary.
- You must be able to follow company policies and procedures and work autonomously in a team workshop environment.
- A proactive approach to safety, hazards, and risk management is crucial.
