As a mental health specialist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the wellbeing of children and young people across two sites in Western Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality specialist mental health care in school settings
- Support early identification and referral of at-risk students through proactive collaboration with educators and families
- Develop and lead effective suicide prevention strategies and complex behaviour management initiatives
- Provide clinical education, consultation, and service planning to drive positive outcomes
- Contribute to research, policy, and model of care development to advance best practices
You will be responsible for shaping comprehensive care plans, driving change in schools, and working collaboratively with educators, families, and carers. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and young people in Western Sydney.
The successful candidate will be an experienced mental health professional who is passionate about working in a fast-paced environment.
This position is based at both Mount Druitt PCYMHS Rupertswood Hub and Redbank House Westmead. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
