Merchandise Planner Role

We are seeking an experienced Merchandise Planner to join our team in a full-time capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through the effective planning of merchandise.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Merchandise Planning role, preferably in Ecommerce, with experience in planning software and within a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Work collaboratively with the merchandise planning team to deliver trading actions and align with business financial plans
  • Develop product strategies to drive business growth and ensure optimal stock levels
  • Provide weekly summaries of key performance indicators and ensure the correct balance of newness, repeat business, width, depth, pricing architecture, colour, and category mix is planned
  • Build a balanced option plan to deliver the brand strategy and perform scenario modelling for key events
  • Refine current systems and processes and implement best practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on budget plans and re-forecasts with senior stakeholders
  • Deliver high-quality reports and presentations to support business decisions
  • Maintain accurate records and data to inform future planning
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders

  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to understand and use planning software
