Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a Senior Associate position within our busy Insurance practice in Sydney. This role will involve the day-to-day handling and management of high-value coverage disputes for professional institutions, financial institutions, corporate service providers, directors and officers (D&O), as well as offering clear written advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing high-value coverage disputes
  • Providing written advice to clients
  • Defending professional liability claims
  • Maintaining awareness of developments in general insurance and litigation matters
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of defendant insurance experience from a reputable insurance team or firm
  • Ability to run with matters autonomously with limited supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Desire to mentor more junior lawyers in the team
  • Methodical and organized approach to file management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
