We are seeking an accomplished Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Site Supervisor to execute carpentry tasks, ensuring that all wooden structures and installations meet the highest standards of quality.

  • Utilize precision layout tools (e.g., laser levels) and engineered timber/light-gauge steel components to install wall/ceiling frames, roof trusses, and eaves systems.
  • Determine material quantities (timber, steel studs, gypsum), precise dimensions, and installation sequences for carpentry projects. Ensure compliance with structural and design requirements.
  • Repair deteriorated wooden elements (e.g., rot, termite damage) through selective timber replacement and reinforcement techniques for longevity.
  • Create partitions, flooring systems, stairs, and decorative panelling using specialized connectors (nails, screws, brackets), emphasizing load-bearing integrity and acoustic performance.
  • Design, install, and dismantle temporary moulds for poured concrete structures, focusing on dimensional accuracy and safety protocols.
  • Fit windows, doors, and associated hardware (hinges, handles, locks), ensuring alignment, weatherproofing, and compliance with accessibility standards.
Requirements:
  • A fully qualified Carpenter with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
  • Able to work independently, manage projects efficiently, and meet deadlines with precision.
