Key Cyber Security Role Overview

The Assistant Director is a pivotal position within the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team responsible for developing essential capabilities to enable the assessment and reporting of ICT risk and compliance within a cyber security context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and implement key GRC capabilities.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and frameworks related to cyber security and GRC.

Requirements:

  • Three + years of experience in Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance.
  • Relevant government security frameworks such as PSPF and ISM.
  • Enterprise information and cyber security processes, concepts, and best practice with an exposure to government cloud models.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • ICT risk and compliance management experience.
  • CISSP/CISM or equivalent certifications.
  • Adaptive leadership and collaboration skills in challenging change environments.
