EML is a leading Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Claims Management business. Our goal is to help people get their lives back through ongoing support during their return-to-work journey.

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Coordinator to join our remote team based in Coffs Harbour or surrounding locations. As part of this role, you will play a vital part in helping injured workers return to work and supporting their employers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering personalised face-to-face assistance to workers and employers
  • Providing workers' compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers
  • Conducting community visits, including but not limited to work sites or medical clinics
  • Pro-actively achieving the optimum outcome of recovery and early sustainable return to work for workers
  • Consulting with Providers, Employers and Return to Work Specialists where required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong Rehabilitation/Return to Work knowledge and experience (ideal)
  • Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Exercise Science) (desirable)
  • Allied Health background (desirable) - understanding of medical terminology and injury recovery timeframes
  • Knowledge of the NSW workers' compensation legislation and regulations
  • Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, written and verbal proficiency
  • An own vehicle with a 5 star ANCAP rating, insurance & current unrestricted NSW Drivers License
